an amazing talent; a master-craftsman who brings hallucinations to life. gustavo played a huge role in solidifing the southern look. note the feathers' heads; the shoosh-man's hat, mouth, cane and suit; the infant's (played by gustavo) goat head; the peddler's wagon and outfit; the procession's effigy; the sisters' chastity belt and tons of other bits o' prop and costume. he is also responsible for capturing some of the most engaging images of southern while behind the camera. gus' also composed and performed the score to the southern trailer.
